Probe Does Not Defrost Properly:
Cause
1. Controls not set properly.
2. Exhaust line not connected.
3. Probe does not defrost during operation.
Digital Temperature Display Malfunction:
Cause
1. Meter not "on".
2. Open circuit in thermocouple.
3. Display out of calibration.
4. Batteries low

12. Connect a second probe and test.
13. Replace filter, part no. F021720.
Remedy
1. Properly set controls.
2. Ensure probe plugs are properly connected.
3. Immediately shut console off and flood tip area
with sterile saline.
Remedy
1. Turn main meter switch "on".
2. Connect a second thermocoupled probe to console and
test.
3. Check digital meter calibration with probe connected and
system off. Submerge probe tip in ice water. Reading
should be approximately 0º C. No calibration required.
4. Replace four 9 volt batteries.
