1.2 Dimension and Installation
1.2.1 Environments for Installation
음Caution for installation location and environment
(A) Be sure to power on and operate the controller after installation on a panel to prevent electric
shock.
(B) Do not install the controller at following places or environment.
■
Where people can contact the terminal unconsciously.
■
Where the location is directly exposed to mechanical vibration or shock.
■
Where the location is exposed to corrosive gas or inflammable gas.
■
Where it has big temperature fluctuation.
■
Where it is too hot (over 50℃), or too low(under 10℃) temperature.
■
Where the location is directly exposed to direct sunray.
■
Where the location affected by electromagnetic wave.
■
Where the location is high humidity (surrounding humidity is over 85%)
■
Where it has flammable materials for fire.
■
Where it has a lot of dust or salinity.
■
Where it has a lot of UV Rays.
☞ Avoid installing the product in such places with combustible objects upon fire although the
case of this product is made from fire retardant materials with ABS/PC.
음Caution for Installation
(A) Do not leave equipment or wire causing Noise close to the product.
(B) Use the product within 10~50℃, 20~90%RH(non-condensation) range.
Especially, do not be close to highly heat dissipating equipment.
(C) Do not install the product inclined.
(D) Store the product within -25~70℃, 5~95%RH(non-condensation) range.
Especially, warm-up sufficiently before using the product when the product is used at low
temperature of under 10℃.
(E) Wiring shall be made after all power to the equipments is off. (Caution for electric shock)
(F) This product operates at DC24V, 20VAmax without additional manipulation.
There may be electric shock and fire hazard when using out of rating power.
(G) Do not operate the product with wet hand which has danger of electric shock.
(H) Please follow basic cautions to prevent risk of fire, electric shock or damage.
(I) Follow only as instructed in the Installation Manual when installing and using the product.
(J) Please refer to the installation method for grounding. However, never connect ground to
water pipe, gas pipe, telephone line or lightning rod. It has risk of explosion or inflammable.
(K) Do not turn on the power before connection between the equipments completed. It can be
cause of trouble.
(L) Do not block the heat dissipating hole. It can be cause of trouble.
(M) I/O BOARD shall be installed inside constant temp/humidity chamber with right angle, and fix
it tightly using bolt and nut to the hole at the board..
(N) Product is Category II class over-voltage protection, and using environment is DEGREE II.
