Logging Out
Follow these steps to end a session with a host
computer:
1
When you finish working,
follow the logout
procedure for that system.
Note that if you
do not log out before disconnecting from the
host computer
your session may still be in
process.
You should always log out before
you disconnect.
2
If logging out disconnects the line, a
message tells you to press any letter key to
return to Telephone Manager.
Follow these
instructions.
If logging out does
~
disconnect the line,
press <Shift>-<Exit>.
Doing so always
disconnects the line and returns you to
Telephone Manager.
This is a fail-safe way
to terminate any connection with a host
computer and should be used only after you
have loggged out or if you are unable to log
out.
