Installing the Power over Ethernet injector

Avaya provides a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector for the AP8120 access point that you can
order separately. The PD-9001G-40/SP is a single port, Gigabit Midspan with surge protection
injector that is 802.3af and 802.3at compliant. When using the PD-9001G-40/SP, you are not
required to use the Ethernet surge arrester provided with the AP8120-O. For release 1.2, the Avaya
PoE injector is certified for use only in North America and the European Union.
