Expanding/replacing the main memory

The following table shows the prescribed equipping order:
single channel

The dual-channel mode is only activated, if the size of the used memory modules in socket
DIMM 2A is equal to the summary of memory modules in sockets DIMM 1A and DIMM 1B
(e.g. DIMM 1A = 512 MB, DIMM 1 B= 512 MB, DIMM 2A = 1 GB).

In case of dual channel configuration with four memory modules: all four
memory slots must be equipped with identical memory modules.

Ê Fold the assembly brackets outwards on both sides of the corresponding slot
(1).
Ê If the slot was equipped: pull the memory module out of the slot (2).
