5.2.12 First Dot Position Adjustment

This section describes how to adjust the first dot position adjustment. Basically, this
adjustment is not required to your usual repair activity. But sometimes, a specific user
requires you to do the fine-adjustment for the first dot position.
NOTE: The adjustable range is from -72 mm to +72 mm for Stylus PHOTO 950
printers.
NOTE: This adjustment can change the left and right margins in single steps
(+/- 0.0088 mm).
1.
Setup the adjustment program. Main screen (Figure 5-3) appears.
(Refer to Section 5.2.1.)
2.
Select "Adjustment" and then "First dot position".
3.
Main screen changes as below.

using a measure. And decide your target adjust value. (ex. -1mm or +2mm.)
5.
Use the UP/DOWN keys and the left and right buttons in the program screen to
select the desired value, and then click "OK".
NOTE: If you click on the UP/DOWN arrow buttons the display value increases
or decreases. You can also use the left and right arrow button below this
to change the value to the maximum or minimum value or to change it in
steps of +/- 4.
