Grasp the part of the imaging
unit as shown in the illustra-
tion and lift the imaging unit to
r em o v e t h e m i sf ed pap er .
Then, return the imaging unit
to its original position.
The im aging unit is shaky if you
push it — there is no problem , it
does not "lock" in place.

If you still cannot remove mis-
fed paper, take it out through
the copy tray area.

Make sure that there are no
scraps of paper within the cop-
ier.

Close the top unit with both
hands and push in the cassette
horizontally.
M ake sure that the Check Paper

Path indicator is turned off.
