The installation location should be carefully chosen because environ-
mental conditions greatly affect the performance of a copier.
Copier Environment
Optimum Environmental Conditions
Tem perature: 10 - 30°C, 50 - 86°F
Hum idity: 15 - 90%
Place upon a strong, stable, level
base w ith a flat, even surface. Do
not place on a surface that has
holes, ruts, cavities or is uneven
in any w ay.
The copier must be level w ithin 3
mm , 0.11" both front to rear and
left to right.
To avoid a possible build-up of
ozone, make sure to locate this
copier in a large well ventilated
room that has air turnover of
more than 30 m
Environments To Avoid
Locations exposed to direct sun-
light or strong light (m ore than
1,500 lux.)
