Pairing of music device
and helmet
If necessary, consult the oper-
ating instructions of your music
device concerning its Bluetooth
functions and A2DP capability.
Switch on communication sys-
tem and music device.
Press and hold button 2 and
button 3 of the communication
system simultaneously until the
flash frequency of the green
LEDs 6 has increased once
(2 Hz flashing).
The communication system is
now visible to other Bluetooth
devices for a maximum of
60 seconds, the green LED
flashes twice per second.
Start the search function of
the music device for other
Bluetooth devices.
NOTICE
It can take some time for a
Bluetooth device to be detected.
It is always best to activate the
search function as soon as
possible after activating visibility,
so that the searching device will
have as long as possible to find
the visible device.
If the communication system
has been detected by the mu-
sic device, it is displayed as
a headset with the designa-
tion "BMW_HELMET_III xxxx".
The letters "xxxx" represent
the identification number of the
communication system.
If requested, the security code
'0000' must be entered during
the pairing phase.
