Telephone and navigation device
cannot be connected with a hel-
met with a communication sys-
tem at the same time. The tele-
phone must be incorporated in
the Bluetooth combination via
the navigation device to enable
both devices to be used at the
same time. To do so, the nav-
igation device is connected with
the communication system as
described ( 20). In addition,
the telephone must be connec-
ted with the navigation device.
The navigation device then an-
nounces, accepts and ends any
phone calls.

At any given time, each com-
munication system can be con-
nected with one of each of the
following types of device:
Another communication system
An A2DP (Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile) compat-
ible music playback device
An HFP/HSP (Hands Free Pro-
file/Handset Profile) telephone
or navigation device
Many mobile phones and nav-
igation devices have inbuilt mu-
sic playback devices. A device
of this nature connected to a
communication system can be
used to play music and is there-
fore classed as a music playback
device. In this case, no other
music playback devices can be
connected to the helmet.
Devices no longer in use
If a previously connected device
is no longer in use, its pairing
entry should be deleted from
the communication system. Not
doing so can delay the setup of
other available devices.
