1 General

1.1 Introduction

This user manual contains important information about the
handling of the product. To ensure safety when using the
product, read the user manual carefully and follow the
safety instructions.
Note that there may be sections in this document, which are

otherwise stated, each section in this document refers to all

1.3 Intended Use

A ceiling hoist is a battery-powered transfer device, designed
to be used indoor in normal temperature and humidity.
If continuously exposed to high humidity, high condensation
and corrosives (e.g. chlorine or ammonia gases) the product
may be impaired and a reduction in lifetime must be
expected.
Common lifting situations are:
Between the bed and a wheelchair
To and from the toilet
