ance any more, press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance (the ON/
OFF button goes out) and unplug the appliance.
Note:
For saving energy, the DESIGN BREW ADVANCED will switch off automatically
after 40 minutes of operation. The illumination of the ON/OFF button goes out
and the warming plate stops heating.

INTERRUPTING OR CANCELLING OPERATION

You can interrupt or cancel operation at any time you like.
1. To interrupt operation, simply press the ON/OFF button (the ON/OFF button
goes out). The appliance stops heating immediately. However, keep in mind that
water could still be within the filter basket and drip. Always slide the drip speed
control completely to the right (position "Drip stop") to close the drip stop valve,
before removing the used container (e.g. the provided carafe) from the warming
plate.
2. With a sufficient amount of water still in the water tank, you can re-assume ope-
ration by pressing the ON/OFF button again. The appliance will continue ope-
ration. With the water tank empty, the ON/OFF button will flash to indicate that
the appliance is not ready for operation.

STARTING OPERATION VIA THE TIMER

Setting the Internal Clock

For timer-controlled operation of the DESIGN BREW ADVANCED, you need to adjust
the clock first. Otherwise the starting point of operation cannot be determined correct-
ly. For setting the correct time, press the time setting buttons "HOUR" and "MINUTE".
The internal clock of the appliance is using the 24-hours mode.
Tip: For your convenience, when holding the desired time setting button pressed,
the shown time value will run on until you release the button.
