INSTRUCTION BULLETIN
NOTE: DO NOT DISCARD the Parts List from the Instruction Bulletin. Place the
Parts List in the appropriate place in the machine manual for future
reference. Retaining the Parts List will make it easier to reorder
individual parts and will save the cost of ordering an entire kit.
NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis ( ) are reference numbers for parts listed in Bill of Materials.
Installation instructions for kit number 9018830
Kit installation must be performed by TennantTrue
SYNOPSIS:
This kit contains the parts needed to install the optional power washer assembly onto M17 machines
serial numbers 011000 and above (European serial numbers 0500 and above) and T17 machines
serial numbers 013000 and above (European serial numbers 1200 and above).
Please follow step-by-step instructions.
SPECIAL TOOLS / CONSIDERATIONS: NONE
(Estimated time to complete: 7 hours)
PREPARATION:
1. Completely empty the solution tank.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off
machine, and remove key.
2. Disconnect the battery cable from the
machine.
WARNING: Always disconnect battery
cables from machine before working on
electrical components.
3. Remove the existing battery compartment
cover from the machine.
4. Remove the battery from the machine.

such as batteries and fluids in an environmentally safe way according
to local waste disposal regulations.

contact with battery acid, keep all metal
objects off batteries, use a non- conductive
battery removal device, use a hoist and
adequate assistance when lifting batteries.
5. Remove parts/components necessary for
installing the power sprayer onto the machine.
INSTALLATION:
1. Orient the fittings on the water pump (1) as
shown and install the water pump unto to
water pump mounting bracket. (Fig. 1)
2. Install the water pump assembly onto the
frame of the machine. (Fig. 1)
