Display and Operation
The CC–CO has four display elements and one operating element. Being more specific,
there are one red, one green and two yellow LEDs and one push-button, all of them located
on the top side of the housing.

LED „Line Activation"
The red LED "Line Activation" signalizes an attempt to establish a communication line
between the two CC–COs.
LED „Line Transparent"
The yellow LED "Line Transparent" signalizes that the communication line is established
between the CC–CO master and CC–CO slave.
LED "Data Transfer"
The yellow LED "Data Transfer" flashes to signalize that the protection device is transmit-
ting serial user data.
LED „Power On"
The green LED "Power On" signalizes that the CC–CO is supplied with auxiliary voltage.
Push-button „Reset / Training"
This button starts a reset/training. The function examines the physical properties of the
communication line and modifies the tuning of the CC–CO accordingly. This process can
take up to 15 secs and should be followed by a "Line Transparent" signal. Additionally,
for the duration the button is being pressed the 3 upper LEDs and the DOK relay are
connected so that the signalizing elements can be checked for their operatability at the
same time.
To annote that configuration Master or Slave is set, make a cross on the corresponding
position on the label to be found at the upper side of the housing.
