Please note the included General Safety Notes and the
following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage
or physical injury:
 Keep packaging material out of reach of children. There is a risk
of suffocation!
 The unit is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
Do not let the unit run unsupervised and keep it out of the reach
of children and persons in need of supervision. Children should
be supervised to make sure they do not play with the unit.
 Hold the machine by the insulated gripping surfaces where the
accessory may contact hidden wiring or the mains cable. If the
accessory contacts a 'live' wire, the exposed metal parts of the
machine can also become 'live'. Risk of electric shock.
 The grinder is not suitable for wet grinding.
 Keep the charger lead always away from moving parts of
the tools.
 Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area
corresponds to the operating voltage stated on the type label of
the charger.
 Do not continue to use the unit if the unit or the line cord are
damaged. Repair work must be done by a qualified service
technician.
 Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
 Switch the unit off if you do not use it or clean it.
 Grinding some material can lead to the formation of
hazardous or explosive dust. For your safety wear dust
protection, ear and eye protection. Contact or inhalation
of dust coming free during sanding (e.g. lead painted
surfaces, woods and metals), can endanger the health of
operator and bystanders. Always wear appropriate
personal equipment as a dust mask and use the dust
