PSS PS230

Introduction

This operating manual is valid for the power supply PSS PS230 from
Version 1.3.

Overview

The PS230 Power Supply provides the internal voltage required to operate
the module rack, and the 12 V DC required to program the user memory. It
can be operated with either 230 or 120 V AC. The built-in battery is used to
buffer the real-time clock and the standard section memory components
and is monitored by the CPU.
There is a switch to turn the supply voltage on and off, making it easier to
install systems in the Series PSS 3000.
The module PSS PS230 is designed for use on the Series PSS 3000
Module Rack.
INFORMATION
The power supply can either be operated with 230 V or with 120 V; it is not
a universal power supply.
