• In order to operate the motion detector with as little power as pos-
sible, you have the option of making settings on the board:
1.) LED (33): The LED-Jumper is used to control the function of the LED.
To ensure the invisibility of the detector and to save battery power, it is
recommended that the LED-Jumper is set to „Off" after the tests have
been completed. This is also the factory setting.
2.) Normal / test mode (34): You can choose between test mode
(Test- Jumper ON) and normal mode (Test-Jumper OFF). In normal
mode, no movement is forwarded to the alarm central for the next 5
minutes after a detected movement. In test mode, every detected
movement is forwarded to the alarm centre. Normal mode is set at
the factory.
• Within 5 minutes after powered on the detector, it will be in the
automatic test mode. No matter the 5 min / test jumper or LED jumper
is on or off, the LED will be on and the detector will send every signal it
catches.
• When the detector is disassembled, the detector will send a tamper
alarm signal 3 times (anti-tamper switch) - the LED is flashing. When
the tamper (35) is recovered, it will send a signal for reset.
• When the voltage is below 2,5 V, the detector sends a low power
signal (low batt) within 10 sec. to the alarm central. The LED flashes
every 5 sec. This process repeats itself every hour.
• Replace a discharged battery immediately. Only use batteries of
type CR123A. When inserting the battery, please pay attention to
the correct polarity! If you change the battery, it will send a recovery
signal.
• Do not touch the detector surface to warrant the sensitivity
• If necessary, clean the sensor with a soft cloth dipping with a little
alcohol when power off.
