Cakes and pastries

Baking tins:
It is best to use dark baking tins made of metal.
If you switch to the microwave, use the microwave rack
or use baking dishes made of glass, ceramic or plastic.
These must be heat resistant up to 250 ºC. Cakes will
not brown so well if you use these types of baking
containers.
Tables:
The times given apply to dishes placed in a cold oven.

Cake base with shortcrust pastry edge
