1. Manual drainage:
1.1 When the internal water tank is full the unit will stop
working and P1 will show on the LED screen.
1.2 Shut off the unit and unplug. Try not to move the model
abruptly as this may cause water to spill out from
internal water tank.
1.3 Place a tray under the bottom water plug as in the image.
1.4 Unplug the water blocker - water will drain from the
container.
1.5 Put the water blocker back and screw the water plug
back into place
2. Continuous drainage:
2.1 Screw off the water plug and unplug the water blocker.
2.2 Use a water pipe to connect to the middle water outlet.
2.3 You can plumb this pipe into your current plumbing
system, lead it outside or use an external water pump
Note: This model has a self-evaporative function, which reduces the need to empty the water
tank. Please ensure all three rubber bungs are in and secured if using the self-evaporation
function.
If the unit is vented correctly, in cooling mode most of the water is reused to cool the condenser
coil and any excess is evaporated. Please do not use continuous drainage if you intend to use the
self-evaporating facility.
If using in heating or dehumidifier mode we recommend to use the middle drain to drain excess
water out of the room through the wall, using an external tank or using an external pump.
If the unit is used in cooling mode as self-evaporating air conditioner the internal tank may still
fill quicker than expected if there is a very high humidity in the air or the unit is vented
incorrectly. We recommend emptying the unit using the bottom drain port in such an instance or
use permanent drainage as described above.
There are instances when you may want to use the top drain to empty the evaporator tank or to
remove internal blockages. Make sure filters are clean regularly as described in this user manual.
