5.3 On-site installation

DANGER
Fire hazard due to device overload.
There is a fire hazard due to overloading of the device
caused by unsuitable circuit breaker and supply line.
f Lay out the supply line and the circuit breaker accord-
ing to the technical data of the device.
The connection must be accomplished accord-
ing to protection class II, compliant with DIN EN
60950.
f When installing, please note the applicable
requirements for compliance with protection
class II including functional earth.

5.3.1 Supply line

f Lay out the supply line according to the technical data
of the device.

When dimensioning the supply line (cross sec-
tion and cable type), always ensure the following
local conditions:
„ Type of installation
„ Cable parameters per unit length
„ Line length
f Route supply line and possibly data and control lines to
the appropriate locations.

f Observe valid national regulations.

f Disconnect the device from the mains.
f Open the lock on the front by using the supplied key.
f Open the cover by pressing.
f Swing the enclosure cover downwards.
