GENERAL INFORMATION
There are two Transportation gasoline models available: the Villager and TransPorter. Throughout this manual,
important features unique to each model are highlighted. We urge the owner/operator to read and understand
this manual, and to pay special attention to the features specific to their vehicle(s).
Each Transportation vehicle is equipped with either a two-position key switch or a three-position key switch.
Vehicles equipped with a two-position key switch are periodically referred to as "pedal-start" and vehicles
equipped with a three-position key switch are periodically referred to as "key-start".
MODEL IDENTIFICATION
The serial number of your transportation vehicle is printed on a bar code decal mounted on the frame directly
above the accelerator pedal (Example: JG0101-123456) (Figure 2, Page 9) . There is also a second serial
number decal mounted on the front body frame behind the center dash panel. The center dash panel must
be removed to access this serial number. See following NOTE.
NOTE
• ALWAYS HAVE THE VEHICLE SERIAL NUMBER AT HAND WHEN ORDERING PARTS OR
MAKING INQUIRIES (FIGURE 2, PAGE 9) .
