Charging current distributor

10.6 Fault indication

The green LED (see Fig. 10 on page 6, position 6) is on whenever the
device is working properly.
The green LED goes out and the red LED (see Fig. 10 on page 6, position
5) goes on in the event of a malfunction. One of the following malfunctions
are possible:
Fault
Undervoltage
Overvoltage
Excess
temperature

Charging current distributor
The charging current distributor is only supplied with roof air conditioners
EC-1500-AC/DC and EC-2000-AC/DC. Detailed information on the
ECL-100 can be found in the supplied operating manual.

11.1 Purpose

The charging current distributor is used with EC-1500-AC/DC and
EC-2000-AC/DC roof air conditioners and the ECW-012VS inverter.
It has been developed specially for the EC-1500-AC/DC and
EC-2000-AC/DC roof air conditioners in mobile and stationary mode.

11.2 Operating principle

The high currents required to operate the EC-1500-AC/DC and EC-2000-AC/
DC roof air conditioners while the vehicle is in motion have to be taken from
the power supply of the vehicle. The charging current distributor controls the
power balance of the vehicle battery, the supply battery and the roof air
conditioner, depending on the charging voltage at the dynamo.

Explanation
The remaining battery capacity is too weak.
The batteries have to be recharged.
Check the input voltage at the inverter and compare it
with the technical data of the inverter.
The inverter has become too warm. Check the
ventilation. The constant load may also be too high
under the given circumstances. Switch off the consumer
unit and let the inverter cool down.
