4. Operation & Filter Maintenance
This section explains Ventless Hood operation, required filter maintenance and cleaning, and alarm conditions.
4.01

Hood Operation

Before attempting to operate the Hood, be certain that all Filters are in place and properly installed.
1. Starting the Hood requires that the top [START] portion of the Power Switch
held. When Hood blower starts release switch; it springs back and remains in the [ON] position (center). The

Hood Power light will turn ON. The E.A.C. [ON] light
or 2 seconds, then the [APPLIANCE POWERED] Light
the Hood is powered and ready to use. The Hood must be restarted in this manner after any power
interruption.
