When working in a group, have a leader

Before starting inspection, shut off the
engine

start inspection or maintenance.
Unless otherwise specified, shut off the

Be careful so as not to get your fingers caught when
closing the battery cover or doors.

Make sure the forks and other attachment
(if any) are on the ground
If unavoidable to work under raised forks
or attachment, use a stable support
under the inner mast and/or the carriage
to prevent the forks or attachment from
falling down unexpectedly
Do not put your feet under the forks
Use caution not to get your fingers
pinched in the floor plates or hood
