PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

This maintenance schedule is worked out on the assumption that the lift truck will be used under typical
working conditions. If the lift truck is used under severer working conditions, earlier preventive maintenance
is required.

Checking

Visually check for proper rotation.
Check working noise.
Check exhaust gas (color).
Check air cleaner element for contamination
and clean, if needed.
Check crankcase air breather for
contamination and clean, if needed.
Engine
Check valve clearance.
Retighten cylinder head bolts.
Check cylinder compression pressure.
Blow-
by gas Check metering valve and piping for
reducing clogging or damage.

Check maximum speed under unloaded
Governor
condition.
Check for engine oil leaks.
Check engine oil for level and contamination.
Lubrication
system
Change engine oil.
Change engine oil filter.
Check for fuel leaks (piping, pump and tank).
Check for fuel filter for clogging.
Clean fuel filter.
Change fuel filter element.
Check injection nozzle for injection
pressure and spray pattern.
Fuel
Check carburetor for loose linkage and
system
contamination.
Check ignition timing.
Check injection timing.
Drain water from fuel tank.
Clean the inside of fuel tank.
Check fuel level.
