1 The following assembly is required to secure the
instrument into its operating position in the rack:
a. If rack rail is not tapped, slip two self-anchoring
#10-32 retaining nuts (Item 9) onto the mounting
rail of the rack (each side). These nuts should be
aligned with the slots in the rack mounting ears
previously attached to the mainframe (Items 5
and 7)
b. Slide the instrument fully into the rack on
previously installed right angle runners or a base
plate, until the rack mounting ears strike the front
rail. Secure the instrument in place using two
(each side) Phillips Panhead #10-32 x 3/4 screws
(Item 11)
Fixed Rack Mount installation is now complete.
Instruction for installing Option 52 Inter-Module Shield (P/N
407523) into the 1269 are included in the kit that is shipped
with the option.
