The AMI BIOS Setup Utility uses key strokes for navigation. Use the
keyboard's arrow keys to navigate up, down, left, and right throughout
the menus. Use the <Enter> key to open drop down bars and confirm
selections.
You may press the <F1> on any screen under the Setup Section to see
a list of Hot Keys that are available. Press <F12> to print the screen.
The keyboard's Escape key <ESC> cancels the current screen and will
you back to the previous screen.
How To Change the Configuration Data
The configuration data that determines the system parameters may be
changed by entering the AMI BIOS GUI Setup utility. This Setup util-
ity can be accessed by pressing <Del> at the appropriate time during
system boot.
Note: For the purposes of this manual, options that are printed in
Bold are default settings.
Warning! Do not upgrade the BIOS unless your system has a BIOS-related
issue. Flashing the wrong BIOS can cause irreparable damage to the system.
In no event shall Supermicro be liable for direct, indirect, special, inciden-
tal, or consequential damages arising from a BIOS update. If you have to
update the BIOS, do not shut down or reset the system while the BIOS is
updating. This is to avoid possible boot failure.
