To avoid damaging your system board, it is important to handle it very carefully. The following measures are generally sufficient to protect your equipment from ESD.

Gently push the pairs of diagonal fasteners (#1 & #2 and #3 & #4) into the mounting holes until you hear a click. Make sure that the locations of all the mounting holes for both motherboard and chassis match. Although a chassis may have both plas- tic and metal mounting fasteners, metal ones are highly recommended because they ground the motherboard to the chassis.
