Remove all the currently inserted ink cartridges.
Insert new SOL INK cleaning cartridges into all the slots.
Do not use previously used SOL INK cleaning cartridges.
When the screen on the left is displayed, remove the drain bottle and
discard the discharged fluid.
Use the included drain funnel to transfer the discharged fluid from the printer's drain
bottle to the included drain bottle.
Hereafter, the screen on the left is repeatedly displayed. Follow the on-screen instruc-

tions and repeat steps ,
When the screen on the left is displayed, remove all the SOL INK
cleaning cartridges.
Insert new SOL INK cleaning cartridges into all the slots.
Do not use previously used SOL INK cleaning cartridges.
When the screen on the left is displayed, remove the drain bottle and
discard the discharged fluid.
Use the included drain funnel to transfer the discharged fluid from the printer's drain
bottle to the included drain bottle.
VS-300/420: When the message "WASHING HEAD... " disappears, the display will switch
to the screen shown in step
VS-540/640: Hereafter, the screen on the left is repeatedly displayed. Follow the on-
screen instructions and repeat steps
