FINAL DRIVEISUSPENSION
CX500
REAR WHEEL INSTALLATION
Apply lithium-based multipurpose grease to the
final driven flange spline of the rear wheel and
rlng gear.
Insert the distance collar into the final gear case
in the direction shown.
Install the rear wheel and brake panel.
Insert the rear axle through the swing arm,
washer, brake panel and rear wheel.
Connect the brake rod.
Install the brake torque link.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION:
1.5-2.3 kg-rn (11- 17
ft-lbs)
Torque the axle nut.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION:
3.4

4.0 kg-rn (22- 29
ft.~bs)

Tighten the axle fixing bolt.
