1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read these operating instructions carefully and com-
•
pletely before putting your Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Tesla into
operation. In addition, also similarly read the operating
instructions for the transmission device (Cobra4 Wire-
less-Link, Cobra4 USB-Link or Cobra4 Mobile-Link) that
is to be used for the acquisition of measured values be-
fore operating the Sensor-Unit. With these measures you
protect yourself and your equipment.
Only use the instrument for the purpose for which it was

designed.
Only use the instrument in dry rooms in which there is no
•
risk of explosion.
Protect your Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Tesla from dust, mois-
•
ture and vapours. Clean it with a slightly moist, lint-free
cloth. Aggressive cleaning agents and solvents are un-
suitable.
Take care that no liquid penetrates in through the open-
•
ings in the housing, as the Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Tesla
would then suffer damage.
When using the Sensor-Unit outdoors, ensure that nei-
•
ther rainwater nor spray penetrate into the housing.
Only use the experimental set-up for the use for which it
•
is intended.
Do not open the Sensor-Unit..

Only connect the data output of the Cobra4 Sensor-Unit
•
Tesla to one of the three measured data recording in-
struments that are intended for it.
