SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions thoroughly and com-
pletely prior to starting the unit. This is important for your
own protection and for avoiding damage to the unit.
Use the unit solely for its intended purpose.
The unit is intended for use in dry rooms where there is
no risk of explosion.
Protect the Cobra4 drop counter against dust, humidity,
and vapours. Clean the unit with a slightly moist, lint-free
cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or sol-
vents.
Ensure that no liquids penetrate the unit through its
openings, since otherwise the Cobra4 drop counter
would be damaged.
If you use the unit outdoors, ensure that no rain or splash
water penetrates the housing.
Use the experiment set-up solely for the intended pur-
pose.
Do not open the unit.
Connect the data output of the Cobra4 drop counter
solely to the intended measurement data recording de-
vices.
The optical path is composed of non-visible infrared ra-
diation. Do not look into the emitter (optical path).
Based on today's state of software development, it is
impossible to guarantee that a product is absolutely free
from errors. This is why PHYWE Systeme GmbH & Co.
KG assumes no liability for damage resulting from the
installation or use of this unit.
