MedeaWiz® Hydra™

PLC Interfacing
The Hydra™ can be controlled from a Programmable Logic Controller using "dry contacts" like a
push button, or voltage output.
The sinking output above is the preferred method if dry contacts are not available.
The Hydra has an internal weak pullup 47K resistor.
Do not share PLC outputs with relays, motors or solenoids /valves. These devices can produce
voltage spikes. Keep them on separate isolated outputs away from the Hydra inputs.
