TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Myfi re network does
not show up in the
overview of available
networks
The Wi-Fi box is not
compatible
The Wi-Fi box can
not connect to the
home network

Possible cause
Fault in the Wi-Fi box
The wrong app was
installed
The settings of the Wi-Fi
router do not correspond to
the required setting (see
Chapter 3 for an overview
of the router settings)
The Wi-Fi router can
automatically switch between
the 2.4GHz band and the
5GHz band or it is set to the
5GHz band
The Wi-Fi box is out of
reach from the Wi-Fi router
Possible solution
Reset the Wi-Fi box by
pressing the reset button
for 20 seconds (see
Section 2.3) and carrying
out the installation again.
Contact your dealer if
this problem persists
Install the 'Bellfi res Gas'
app on your mobile device
Check - and if necessary,
adjust - the router settings.
Subsequently, reset the
Wi-Fi box by pressing
the reset button for
20 seconds (see Section
2.3) and carrying out the
installation again
Permanently set the Wi-Fi
router's frequency to the
2.4GHZ band.
Subsequently, reset the
Wi-Fi box by pressing
the reset button for 20
seconds (see Section 2.3)
and carrying out the
installation again
Reduce this distance or
use a Wi-Fi extender.
Subsequently, reset the
Wi-Fi box by pressing the
reset button for 20
seconds (see Section 2.3)
and carrying out the
installation again
