    Vector Flow Imaging (VFI) Vector Flow Imaging is available as an option on the bk3000 and bk5000 ultrasound systems. Normally, color imaging shows only axial flows. Vector Flow Imaging is a technology that uses ultrasound pulses in both axial and lateral directions. The measured signals are therefore sensitive to both axial and transverse motion.
