Remote Wall Switch

1. Thread wire through the electrical knockout located
on side of unit. Do not cut wire or insulation on metal
edges. Ensure that wire is protected. Run the other
end to a conveniently located wall switch.
2. Attach wire to switch and install switch into recep-
tacle box. Attach cover plate to switch.
3. Connect wiring to gas valve. Refer to Figure 7 or 8
and follow appropriate diagram.
CAUTION: DO NOT WIRE MILLIVOLT
REMOTE WALL SWITCH FOR GAS APPLI-
ANCE TO 120V POWER SUPPLY.

Slide the Appliance in Place

With the electrical and wall switch wiring connected,
gently slide or lift the appliance to the desired location.

Level and Secure the Appliance

If nailing flanges are not already installed, attach
flanges with the screws provided.
Make sure appliance is level. Shimming may be re-
quired.
Secure appliance in place by nailing or screwing
through nailing flanges into framing. NOTE: Be sure to
allow proper space for sheet rock.
