IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
FOR YOUR FAST SLOW COOKER™
This appliance cooks under pressure and must be operated and
maintained as described in this manual. The trapped air pressure
inside the pressure cooker may cause a hazardous situation if not
operated and maintained as described in this manual.
NEVER FORCE THE LID CLOSED
CLOSING THE LID
• Make sure the gasket is properly inserted
within the top cover and that the Locking Pin
moves freely.
• Line up the "ALIGN" arrow on the end of the
top cover handle and the base.
• Grab the top cover handle and twist "LOCK"
arrow.
NOTE
The lid is correctly locked when the locking
arrows are aligned and the safety locking pin is
in the down position.
• The lid should lock into place with ease
and minimal effort. DO NOT STRAIN OR
FORCE THE LID TO CLOSE.

RELEASING PRESSURE
• Never place your hands, arms or face over
the pressure release valve when the cooker is
in use.
• Pressure can be released by pressing and
holding the steam release button on the lid.
This should be initially done in short bursts
to prevent large jets of steam being released.
Quick Release – This method uses the Steam
Release Button when there is no more steam
coming out, turn the pressure release valve to
"steam release position".
