About This Document
This hardware installation guide contains procedures and safety requirements for installing the Brocade 7810 Extension Switch into a
rack system or as a standalone device. Also provided are steps to initially configure the switch for operation, verify and monitor operation,
replace switch field-replaceable units (FRUs), and install transceivers and cables. Complete technical specifications for the switch are also
included.
