What if...

Description
This
appears
on
the
display:
The measurement in the
upper display flashes.
LED K1 shows red,
although the measure-
ment is in the OK range
Cause
The Setup program is transferring data.
The monitoring function switches off briefly
during data transmission and the instrument re-
starts.
The instrument is in the alarm range
The measured value flashes in the display and
depending on which switching action is set
(direct or inverse), is above or below the limit.

Measured value too high or too low
-
Temperature values too far
apart during differential measurement
The instrument is set up as a temperature
limiter (TB).
Even if the measured value returns to the OK
range after going overrange, the relay of a
temperature monitor does not reset auto-
matically.
It must be unlocked manually.

Remedy
-
Wait for data transmission
h
Press
twice and check the limit value.
h
Discover the reason why the limit value was
was infringed (above or below the limit)
h
Correct the limit value, if necessary
h
Reduce hysteresis if too great, as it may be
too far into the OK range.

Press
(Reset) with a suitable tool and
unlock the relay manually.
