Patient area

NOTE The external PC connected to the system must be:
- IEC 60950 -approved (CE marked)
- located outside the patient area (1.5 m in each direction, see figure below) and
- protectively earthed.
NOTE The monitor installed to the system must fulfil IEC 60950 requirements.
NOTE Keyboard and mouse connected to external PC as well as Planmeca ProSensor's power
supply and Planmeca ProX generator assembly must be located outside the patient ar-
ea.
NOTE Connect only Planmeca specified devices.
Inside patient area:
1. Dental unit
2. Planmeca monitor
3. Planmeca ProX X-ray tube head and arm assembly
4. Planmeca SingLED operating light
5. Foot control. Use only IEC 60601-1 approved power source supplied by Planmeca
Outside patient area:
6. External PC
7. Planmeca ProX generator assembly
