The engine lacks power.

The air cleaner is clogged.
The carburetor is out of adjustment.
The muffler is clogged.
The engine exhaust port is clogged.
The cylinder compression is poor.
The fuel mixture contains insufficient oil.
The air flow is obstructed.
The flywheel is loose.
The wrong spark plug was installed.
The cylinder rings, wall, or bearing are worn.
The fan is bent.
The carburetor is out of adjustment.
The engine is overheating.
Maintenance Service Parts
Clean or replace the air cleaner.
Adjust the carburetor. Refer to:
page 19.
Clean or replace the muffler.
Clean the carbon buildup from the exhaust ports.

Replace the fuel with fuel with proper mixture. Refer to
the Pump" on page
Clean any debris on or around the flywheel and cooling fins.
Make sure that the flywheel nut is tight.
Make sure that the specified spark plug is installed. Refer to:
"Additional Engine Specifications" on page 25
