STEP 2. Meet Electrical and Environmental Requirements
1. Ensure the available AC power source
meets the following requirements:
CAUTION
This instrument has
autoranging line voltage
input. Be sure the supply
voltage is within the specified
range.
The specified range for the power
requirements is:
• 90 − 132 V
AC
• 48 − 66 Hz / 400 Hz (single phase)
- or -
• 198 − 264 V
AC
• 48 − 66 Hz (single phase)
The instrument power consumption is
600 VA maximum.
3. Verify that the AC power cable is not damaged, and that the power-source outlet
provides a protective earth contact.
CAUTION
Always use the three-prong AC power cord supplied with this product.
Failure to ensure adequate earth grounding by not using this cord may cause
product damage.

2. Ensure the operating environment meets
the following requirements:
• 0 to 40 °C
• 5% to 95% relative humidity at 40 °C
(non-condensing)
• 0 to 4,500 meters (0 to 14,760 feet)
altitude
NOTE
Some analyzer performance
parameters are specified for
25 °C. Later, you can refer to
the Help system in the
analyzer for the complete
specifications.
