DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The KAS 2978 provides the pilot with the following features: ability to
select vertical speed hold; ability to select, arm and, upon approaching the
selected altitude, automatically transfer into Altitude Hold; altitude alerting
as specified by F.A. R. 91.51. The KAS 2978 controls and display are further
described in Figure 7-1.
