IEC 60870-5-104
The IEC 60870-5-104 protocol is also used for communication via the Ethernet interface. The IEC 60870-5-104
specification with a detailed explanation of the protocol is given in International Standard IEC 60870-5-104.

Redundancy
SICAM MMU provides 2 redundancy methods which can be selected during parameterization
(see table 7-10):

Redundancy according to IEC 60870-5-104
•
Redundancy with equally privileged connections
If no redundancy method is selected (parameter -none-), redundancy is not possible.
