The door latch mechanism and door switch are located behind the control panel. The door switch

NOTE: When the door is opened, the door latch cannot be moved enough to actuate the door
switch. This is a safety feature which prevents operation of the door switch while the door is
opened. With the door closed, the ratchet bracket makes contact with the door strike, depressing
the bracket and allowing complete locking of the door latch mechanism, as shown.
