DOOR STRIKE
The door strike is secured to the tub and
provides a means of locking the door in place
once the door latch assembly is moved
co mpl etel y to th e ri g h t.
To Adjust Door Strike:
Adjustment of the door strike provides a
proper seal between the door gasket and the
recessed surface of the tub. Adjustment is
acco mp li she d b y l o o se ni ng th e 5 /1 6" s cr e w
securing the door strike to the tub and
moving the strike in or out. To provide more
tension on the door gasket, tap the strike in.
With the door properly adjusted, the
porcelain part of the door should not make
contact with any portion of the porcelain tub.
To Remove Door Strike:
Complete removal of the 5/16" screw will
a ll ow r em ov al of th e do o r st r i ke .
Removal of the door strike does not require
removal of the dishwasher from its
u n d er co u nt e r in st al la ti on ( W U m o del s ) or
removal of the cabinet from convertible (WC)
m o d e ls.

Removal of the top flange and channel does not require removal of the dishwasher from its
undercounter installation (WU models) or removal of the cabinet from convertible (WC) models.
To Remove Top Flange And Channel:
1. Remove three screws securing the top flange to the countertop (WU models) or wood top
(WC mo de l s).
2. Remove four screws securing top flange to tub.
3. Remove door strike and lift top flange off . NOTE: The top flange channel is secured to the top
flange by two screws.
