INSTA.LEVEL
To simplify the leveling of the back of the
dishwasher, adjustable shoes are provided
at the rear of each tub support bracket. The
adjustable shoes are controlled by a hex
head bolt at the front corners. behind the
front leveling legs. Turn the bolts to the right
to raise the back of the tub and to the left to
l o w e r .
With this method of adjusting, both the
vertical and horizontal levels at the back of
the unit are established at two points on the
floor. Therefore the point at which the
adjustable shoes rest on the floor should be
reasonably level and solid.
The front legs align the f ront of the
dishwasher vertically and horizontally with
the cabinet opening. The rear leg levels the
unit front to back and positions the mounting
flange. A combination of the two adjustments
is necessary to properly position the
dishwasher, and to insure proper fit of the
door and latch. Disregard square of cabinets
- be sure dishwasher is level and solid.
INSTALLATION

drain connection or position the drain
hose for later connection. Make certain
there are no kinks or excess drain hose

compartment and locate as necessary to
position door panel as desired in relation
to the face of the cabinet. (Make final
l e v e l i n g a n d a l i g n m e n t a d j u s t m e n t s a t
t h i s t i m e t o s q u a r e t h e u n i t i n t h e c a b i n e t
o p e n i n g .
N O T E : I n s t a l l i n g a n d l e v e l i n g a b u i l t - i n
dishwasher where the cabinet space is
not square or where the countertop is not
level can be quite difficult. Always level
the dishwasher. Do not level so that it
matches the cabinet opening. lf this is
done the tub may twist enough so the
d o o r w i l l d r a g w h e n o p e n e d a n d c l o s e d .
With the door open use a level across the
door and level horizontally.
After leveling is completed any gaP
between the
mounting flange and
countertop can be shimmed. Place
shims between
countertoP
and
d i s h w a s h e r m o u n t i n g f l a n g e i n t h e
proper place so the mounting flange can
be anchored to the countertop without
twisting the tub. Trim strips may be used
on the sides if the cabinet space is not
square to give the installation a finished
appearance.
3. Open door by moving latch from right to
left position. Make Pilot holes in
underside of counter and drive the wood
screws, provided in accessory package,
t h r o u g h t h e h o l e s i n t h e m o u n t i n g f l a n g e .
lf the cabinet is so constructed that the
mounting flange on the dishwasher does
n o t l i n e u p w i t h t h e c a b i n e t , i t w i l l b e
necessary to provide an additional
anchoring source for the mounting
