About This Chapter
After powering on the MCU, you need to log in to the MCU to conduct basic settings.

3.1 Verification Before Power-On

After you install the 8650, verify device installation, cable connection and power supply
before powering it on.

Before verifying device installation, set the switches of power modules to OFF.

All bolts are mounted securely and the device has enough space around for cooling, if
the 8650 is installed in a cabinet.
Boards can be inserted and removed smoothly, with the fastening screws well tightened.
The device surface is clean, and all parts are in good condition.
The ESD wrist strap is inserted into the chassis ESD jack.
All empty slots have filler panels installed.
All cables, including the power and ground cables, are connected to the device securely
and correctly.
Cable ties do not overlap, and the cuts are neat without burrs.
Excessive parts of power and ground cables are cut instead of being twisted up.
