Protecting your
Settings
— Setting Lock Function
You can lock the Commander so that you
cannot change, add, or clear any of your
data in each setting mode.

While pressing COMMANDER

"SET" appears on the Mode Display
key, "LOCK" flashes and setting
modes flash on the Label keys.

While pressing the LOCK key,
press the Label key on which the
setting mode you want to lock is
displayed. (To change the Label
keys, press the SET key.)

The selected setting mode is locked
and the display of the locked setting
mode on the Label key stays lit.
To lock other setting modes, repeat
Step 2.

When the setting is locked
If you try to display the locked setting
mode by pressing the Label key, "NG"
will flash and the "NG" sound is heard
twice.
To unlock the setting
Follow Steps 1 and 2. And while pressing
the LOCK key, press the Label key on
which the setting mode you want to
unlock is displayed. (To change the Label
keys, press the SET key.) When the
setting is unlocked, the display of the
setting mode on the Label key flashes.
