8. CLEANING

For perfect hygiene and efficiency of the unit, a few simple cleaning tasks are required. The indications given
here are applicable for a normal use of the coffee machine. If the machine is heavily used then cleaning should
be performed more frequently.
Before cleaning the machine you must remove the plug from the mains socket and wait for the machine to
cool down.
PODS HOLDERS
The pods holders must be cleaned daily in hot water with apposite detergent.
The best thing to do is to let them soak in hot water overnight so that the fatty
coffee deposits can dissolve and then to rinse everything off with water.
Failure to clean the filters and filter holders daily will compromise the quality
of the coffee.
STEAM NOZZLE
Keep the nozzle clean at all times using a cloth dampened in lukewarm
water.
BODY
Clean the panels of the body with a cloth dampened in lukewarm water. Do
not use abrasive detergents which may scratch the surface of the body.
PODS HOLDERS
Put at least 10 minutes

STEAM NOZZLE TERMINALS
Check the ends of the steam nozzles and clean them monthly, clearing out
the exit holes with a small needle.
DISPENSING unit
Wash the units as indicated:
1) Use the solid filter holder
2) Pour the apposite
attach the filter holder
3) Carry out a series of deliveries until the water comes out clean
4) Remove the filter holder from the unit and carry out at least one delivery
so as to eliminate the detergent residue
When cleaning, always use cloths that are completely clean and
